Letsitele Smart City
The plan is to build a smart city in Letsitele, Limpopo, which is innovative, sustainable, and green. It is designed to “interface with nature” to ensure minimal environmental impact. The buildings will be designed to optimise integration, with retail, hospitals, office, mixed-use residential components, and hotels forming the backbone of the development.
Residential solid growth in the surrounding land parcels is expected, supported by improvements to existing roads and infrastructure. The Letsitele Mega project will be located on 315 hectares of prime real estate. The project value is estimated at R30 billion.

Venda Student Housing
The development consists of the construction of 1,500 beds student housing project located in the Thohoyandou, Limpopo area, close to the University of Venda. The project value equates to R450 million.

Press Release

On September 8, 2022, Galactic Investments signed the contract in Thohoyandou, Venda, in the Limpopo Province in South Africa, to develop student housing close to the University of Venda. The project will provide housing for 1584 students, complying with NSFAS regulations. The estimated development cost is R450 million.

David Pieterse
David Pieterse has been involved in Development Management and Project management for the last 30 years. He has developed, managed, and project-managed retail-, office hotels- and residential projects. The projects varied from small strip malls to Regional Malls, Small Office Blocks to multi-story Office Parks, Hotels, Residential Estates, and Hospitals.
Over the years, he has expanded his knowledge to all the fields of property development so that he can manage all the areas of the projects and have enough in-depth knowledge to communicate with Engineers, Town Planners, QS, Contractors, and Tenants.
He understands the dynamics of development and knows that every project is Time, Cost, and Quality driven. He has great people skills and has the ability to motivate all the parties forming part of a development to achieve goals and standards set out.
